BETA DISCLAIMER: This tool is in beta as a personal hobby project. It is a conceptual tool designed for planning and educational purposes, using assumptions and fixed variables to simulate the impacts of sun, shade, and diffuse light. It has not been fully vetted for real-world edge cases, precise temperature coefficients, or strict system wiring losses. Always consult a certified professional before building a physical system.

Design your roof. Wire panels to MPPTs, but beware series shading! (Shift-click to select multiple items)
1. Active Templates: Select Place Panel or Place MPPT. In the right Inspector pane, choose a Template from your catalog to place. Click the gear icon to customize templates. Click the canvas to stamp the component. Click and Drag to paint multiple panels quickly!
2. Mix & Match / Edit: Use the Select / Edit tool to click any placed component. The right pane will let you override its specs individually or apply a catalog preset to overwrite it.
3. Moving & Copying: With the Select / Edit tool, Shift-Click multiple components to group them. Drag them to move the entire group (wires will stretch). Click Duplicate Group in the inspector to stamp exact clones! Press Delete to quickly remove selected items or wires.
4. Wiring Constraints: Click Wire, click a Panel, and then click another Panel or MPPT to connect them. Clicking an existing wire immediately removes it. Avoid branching (Y-splits). MPPTs will display HIGH or LOW errors if string voltage/amperage falls out of tolerance.
5. Simulate & Analyze: Adjust Environment settings, click RUN SIMULATION, toggle your heavy appliance to test battery resilience, and export a snapshot when finished!
